About Carlay
I am a graduate of the renowned Audio Post Production program at Fanshawe College and also have my diploma in Music Industry Arts from the same institute.
Having worked as a freelance audio engineer for the past few years, I have acquired a great amount of practical knowledge in many areas of the creative and technical audio industry working in: production and scripting, video editing, mixing and mastering, sound design and recording live audio.
As not only a producer but also as a composer, I strongly believe that quality compositions and top level audio together have the ability to transform various forms of digital media and bring them to a new level.

I had the wonderful opportunity to work alongside an incredible team in helping NASDAQ put together season 4 of World Reimagined. As Lead Audio Engineer, I hosted each episode's record and VO session via Riverside.fm, assembled, cleaned and cut all raw audio, picked various music pieces to fit each episode as well as incorporated a variety of SFX elements. Each episode was mixed and mastered to -14 LUFS. My work on this series is through Podfly Productions LLC.
I was given the wonderful opportunity to work on season 2 of the Hurma Project Podcast as producer and post production engineer.
Audio Post Production of The Globe and Mail's 'Stress Test', season 3. Winner of the 2021 Canada Best in Business Awards - Best Audio and Visual Storytelling.
Audio clean up including removal of background noise and room reverberation, clicks and implosives. General EQ and compression as well as mixing and mastering levels to -16LUFS.
Audio Post Production - Mix and Master of RamsayWrites' Micro Podcast Series, written by Bob Ramsay and narrated by Alex Brown. Noise reduction, removal of clicks/pops in audio, as well as general EQ and compression used specially for each episode to maintain consistency and familiarity of all episodes.
I have been fortunate enough to work on such an impactful series! Hosted by Whitney Goodman and distributed through TenTwentyTwo Projects. My work on this series includes scripting intros and outros, assembling, cutting and cleaning up each episode as well as mixing and mastering to -16 LUFS.
