I'm available for one-off stories, including reported and personal essay-based works. I also offer end-to-end production services for institutions looking to launch their own podcasts. I specialize in queer, trans, and environmental justice-related issue. I also offer audio storytelling workshops.

About Aubrey

Aubrey Calaway is an audiomaker, educator, and writer who is passionate about bridging complex ideas with general audiences. Merging end-to-end project management skills with expertise in the craft of audio storytelling, they specialize in collaborating with artists, academics, and activists. In addition to other projects, Aubrey is a Producer on the “TransLash Podcast with Imara Jones,” a GLAAD Media-award winning and Apple Podcast Spotlight show. Previous clients include The Institute for Contemporary Arts Miami, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Brightline Defense, and the Black Mountain Institute. Aubrey is a graduate and former Teaching Assistant at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies. They are the 2023 Salt Artist in Residence at Monson Arts.
