I'm available for one-off stories, including reported and personal essay-based works. I also offer end-to-end production services for institutions looking to launch their own podcasts. About Aubrey

Aubrey Calaway is an audiomaker, educator, and writer who is passionate about bridging complex ideas with general audiences. Merging end-to-end project management skills with expertise in the craft of audio storytelling, they specialize in collaborating with artists, academics, and activists. In addition to other projects, Aubrey is a Producer on the “TransLash Podcast with Imara Jones,” a GLAAD Media-award winning and Apple Podcast Spotlight show. Previous clients include The Institute for Contemporary Arts Miami, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Brightline Defense, and the Black Mountain Institute. Aubrey is a graduate and former Teaching Assistant at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies. They are the 2023 Salt Artist in Residence at Monson Arts.
