About Arielle

Who are you? Hello, I'm Arielle! I live in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota where I spend my time reporting for the statewide NPR/PBS station, playing with my cat Sully, listening to podcasts, and riding my bike on gravel roads and singletrack trails.

Where can you work? Remote work, anywhere in South Dakota, eastern Wyoming, NW Nebraska, SE Montana and SW North Dakota.

What can you do? Reporting, producing, tape syncs, vox pops, fact checking and transcriptions.

When are you free? Weekends and after work during the weekdays.

What is your job? I'm the business and economic development reporter at South Dakota Public Broadcasting where I report on how the economy and all things money impact the state and everyday South Dakotans. I also focus on criminal justice, legal and Indigenous affairs reporting.

  • Criminal justice reporter at the Rapid City Journal.
  • General assignment reporter at the Nogales International.
