Telling Black Stories Is Revolutionary. A 4-part series exploring the legacy of Reconstruction and the reverberations in today's America. We begin with a thrilling escape and Civil War superhero story, and move through the Charleston capitol building confederate flag liberation, to Trayvon Martin's hoodie.
Reconstructed was produced in collaboration with the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture, using artifacts from the exhibit Make Good the Promises.
Won 2023 Webby & NABJ Excellence Awards, finalist for NAACP Image & Podcast Academy Awards
