• Bluhm/Helfand Social Innovation Fellowship

Details: $10,000 in financial support and participation in Chicago Ideas Week for entrepreneurs 35 years or younger “whose nonprofit and for-profit ventures tackle significant social challenges.”

• Eugene C. Pulliam Fellowship for Editorial Writing
Deadline: June 21, 2018
Details: An editorial writer or columnist with three years of experience will receive $75,000 to travel and publish their work after the fellowship.

Details: Grants of up to $50,000 for winning proposals focused on environments in democratic transition.

Details: Funding to attend the 2018 ONA Conference plus mentorship and hands-on learning throughout.

• Grist Fellowship
Deadline: July 9, 2018
Details: A six-month-long fellowship with a stipend of $2,750 per month for journalists working in video, audio, or multimedia who want hands-on experience at a fast-paced environmental media organization.

• SPJ Training Program with the Google News Lab
Deadline: Rolling
Details: Newsroom teams with a minimum of 25 participants may apply for a training session with SPJ and the Google News Lab to learn new ways of utilizing Google tools to their news gathering and reporting.
