• Austin Film Festival 2017 Fiction Podcast Competition
Deadline:July 7, 2017
Details: Cash prizes range from $1,000 to $5,000. All winners receive reimbursement of roundtrip airfare; hotel reimbursement at the Film Festival; the AFF bronze typewriter award; one complimentary producers badge to attend the festival and conference. Among the judging panel is AIRster Ann Heppermann.

• 2017 Third Coast/Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Competition
Deadline (final): July 11, 2017
Details: Up to $4,000 of prizes for excellent audio work produced between July 2015 and July 2017.

• ITVS Open Call
Deadline: July 28, 2017
Details: $150,000 to $350,000 will be awarded to non-fiction works in progress that aren’t intended for theatrical release. Works must be between 30 and 60 minutes.
