Joni Deutsch is an award-winning audio executive and public radio veteran with 10+ years experience as a podcast manager, program host/producer, and audience growth specialist. Deutsch is currently Vice President of Podcast Marketing and Audience Development at The Podglomerate, where she oversees a high-profile portfolio of podcast clients including Magnificent Noise & PRX’s “This Is Dating” (named “one of the best podcasts of 2022” by New York Times, Vulture, and TIME) and “Missing Pages” (the “literary true crime” podcast praised as a must-listen by Apple Podcasts, the Washington Post, New York Magazine, and The Guardian), as well as PBS, NPR, Freakonomics Radio, NPR stations, Harvard, iHeart, and Hubspot, among many others. The Podglomerate represents more than 70 podcasts accounting for over 30 million monthly downloads, with shows topping the podcast charts and receiving features on every major podcast distribution app with national coverage across print, digital, radio, and television.
Tom Grahsler is the Director of Digital Studios at WHYY, overseeing podcasts and digital video for Philadelphia’s NPR/PBS Member Station. A Philadelphia native, he’s an executive producer, director and editor with over a decade of experience in media production, earning credits at Discovery, National Geographic, Vice, Time Inc, Travel + Leisure, Food & Wine, Sports Illustrated, The Points Guy, Lonely Planet and DotDash. When he’s not producing podcasts or videos he can be found on a motorcycle in the woods somewhere.
As a Program Manager at the Association of Independents in Radio, Erin oversees mentorship and training on SoundPath, AIR's training platform for the audio industry. She's passionate about creating enriching opportunities for professional development for AIR’s membership and the community at large.
Erin McGregor is the host and creator of Queer Public, a narrative podcast that asks critical questions about queer identity, politics, and culture. Some of her freelance clients include Spotify, the NYT, Pacific Content, Pineapple Street, Slate, NPR, CBC, Gimlet Media, Smithsonian, Neon Hum, KCRW, Wondery and Colugo. Erin holds a Master’s Degree in Social Justice & Equity Studies where she studied broadcast news interviews on the CBC. She currently resides in South Philadelphia, PA.
