Bio: Todd Melby is a reporter and radio producer. He is an arts and culture editor at KFAI in Minneapolis and an independent producer. Most recent big project: "We Don't Talk Like That: 'Fargo' and the Midwest Psyche," a one-hour radio documentary on the 1996 Coen Brothers film. Past: lead producer of Black Gold Boom, a public media project documenting North Dakota's oil boom. His stories have aired on U.S. public radio stations, including NPR shows. He's also covered breaking news stories, including the I-35W bridge collapse, for Reuters. He is a senior producer at 2 below zero, a public media nonprofit. And he's won a pair of Edward R. Murrow awards, a Sigma Delta Chi award and a PRNDI award for radio documentaries produced with Diane Richard.
