Bio: Senior editor for PRI's The World, heading up their "Across Women's Lives" initiative in 2015. My work has appeared on 99% Invisible, Radiolab, NPR News, The World, Marketplace, Studio 360, and other public radio programs in the United States and Canada. I was an interim producer at Studio 360, and I've been an editor at APM's Weekend America and a general assignment reporter at WHYY-FM Philadelphia. Recipient of an International Reporting Project Fellowship for work in Ukraine (2000) and a Knight International Press Fellowship to teach radio journalism in Russia (2002).
