Bio: I'm a freelance reporter/producer, and the Morning Edition producer at Vermont Public Radio. Prior to VPR, I reported for Marfa Public Radio in West Texas, where I produced stories about groundwater scarcity, border issues, rural life, and more. My stories have aired on stations around the country, and on shows including Texas Standard, NEXT New England, and WCAI's The Point. A story I produced about mutton busting—the rodeo event where children ride sheep—was awarded a 2018 regional Edward R. Murrow Award.
Audio journalism is my second career, following more than a decade telling stories about people and culture for brands.
