Bio: Martina Castro is founder and CEO of Adonde Media, a bilingual podcast production company currently based in Santiago, Chile.
Martina has spent the past fifteen years producing, reporting and editing award-winning audio content in both the U.S. and Latin America. She has worked at NPR, KALW-FM, and NPR's Radio Ambulante, a Spanish-language podcast she co-founded in 2011. She has given numerous workshops and talks on the art of narrative radio storytelling, including teaching a university course as part of a 2015 Fulbright grant in Montevideo, Uruguay, where her family is from.
Martina proudly serves on the board of the Association for Independents in Radio (AIR) and currently lives in Santiago, Chile where she launched Adonde Media as a participant in the prestigious incubator StartUp Chile in June 2017. While in Chile, Martina also launched Podcaster@s, a community and bi-weekly newsletter for podcast producers in Spanish which you can find at podcasteros.com.
