Bio: I'm a journalist with experience in radio, print and documentary film. My credits include work for The Washington Post, the Wilmington Star-News, NPR, The Tavis Smiley Show (radio), and Errol Morris's First Person (TV). I have a knack for finding the beating heart at the core of every story. Topics include history, environment, local government, health and issues affecting communities of color. I have years of experience in deadline-driven environments across multiple platforms. I am available for producing, tape syncs, writing and audio and print editing. My gear includes an H5 Zoom and Shure SM58 mic. I have conducted tape syncs for NPR stations including WHYY and WBUR, the BBC, and many other outlets.
