It is important that you honor the style and formatting rules below.

First thing's first - you need to create an AIRwiki account.
Anyone can open an AIRwiki account. Click the link “Log in / create account” link located at the top right of every AIRwiki page. Fill in the simple registration form, click “Create Account”, and check your email for a confirmation code. It’s as easy as that.

How to Edit an Existing Listing:

 1. See Formatting Rules below.
 2. Login to your account or create an account if you don't have one already.
 3. Click the “edit” link to the right of the listing you would like to edit. Your browser will take you to an editable page.
 4. Make changes to the text.
 5. Click “Show preview” at the bottom of the page. Review your edits to make sure everything looks right.
 6. If the preview looks good, click the “Save page” button. Your edits will be added to the approval queue and will appear on the site once approved by the administrator.

How to Add a New Listing:

 1. See Formatting Rules below.
 2. Login to your account or create an account if you don't have one already.
 3. Click the “edit” link to the right of the letter of the Alphabet you new listing falls under. Your browser will take you to an editable page that contains all of the listings within that letter of the Alphabet.
 4. Add the new listing in alphabetical order, maintaining the formatting and stylization rules as outlined above. One easy way to do this is to copy an existing editable listing and paste it in into the location of the new listing. Then simply change all the information within the listing fields.
 5. Click “Show preview” at the bottom of the page. Review your edits to make sure everything looks right.
 6. If the preview looks good, click the “Save page” button. Your edits will be added to the approval queue and will appear on the site once approved by the administrator.

Stylization Rules
There are only three wikitext functions you need to know:

Headings: Two equal signs on each side of the title signifies a heading. You can either use the equal sign on your keyboard or select the heading and click the “A” button.
Bold: Text with three apostrophes on each side is bolded. You can either use the apostrophe key on your keyboard or highlight and click the “B” bold button.
Paragraphs: There are two ways to create a paragraph in wiki that will each effect paragraph spacing differently. Using the enter key on your keyboard will create one kind of paragraph. Using a line break by inserting < br > will create another kind of paragraph. To maintain formatting, use the enter key once after the description. For every other line break use < br > to start a new line.

Formatting the Directory:
Below is an example of how to format and stylize a listing within the Awards Directory:

== Title as the Listed Agency most often refers to itself. ==

Description of the award or fellowship in 100 words or less.

'''Agency:''' Full name of the sponsoring organization
'''Deadline:''' September 15, 2010 *See note below
Criteria for Including Award/Fellowship/Grant Directory Listings:
Although the Awards, Fellowships & Grants directories have traditionally held listings that were specific to radio related work, we would like to expand the directories to include other disciplines as producers extend their work across platforms. A basic criterion for including an Award/Fellowship/Grant is that it must have some component or element related to audio work. It does not have to be exclusive to audio, or even have audio as the dominant media, but it needs to be open to practitioners working in sound media. If you are not sure whether a potential listing fits this criteria, email airwiki@airmedia.org to inquire if it is an appropriate addition.
