Trauma and Recovery: A Cambodian Refugee Experience
Producer: Karen Brown
Consulting producer: Laurie Block

A half-hour radio documentary that looks at the aftermath of trauma among Cambodian refugees now living in New England. More than 20 years after the brutal Khmer Rouge came to power, the emotional scars remain. While cultural barriers make it challenging to receive effective mental health care in a Western medical setting, an inherent resilience also provides hope.
