What's Up With You? Now At Radio College

The promised new chat areas of Radio College are up and running. There are different areas for Q&A discussions of technical, business, ethics/legal, editing, and writing issues. There's also a general question area called "What's Up With You?" (after the old area in Jay Allison's WELL conference).

The idea behind "What's Up With You?" is to take pressure off the PAG list. It's a place for more personal comments - notes about grapes and children with chicken pox, a place for introductions and a place for talking about your latest project. Tell us about awards you have won, about your dreams and your trials and traumas and late nights slaving over a hot Macintosh.

Here's an invitation: why doesn't everyone go over there right now, or very soon, and leave a message? What we used to do on the WELL was occasionally have a round of "What are you working on?" People would talk about their projects, grant applications and scripts. A round of that would be a great way to kick off the new forum and generate some momentum. It'll work better if we all decide to jump in with gusto - even the curmudgeons!

All these new areas can be found at http://www.radiocollege.org/rc/answerbox.html.*

*For MAC Users: When you are using the interactive areas of Radio College, in order to see your words appear in the stream it's necessary to reload or refresh the page after you have submitted your comments. To do that, hit the reload button on your browser or use the pretzel and R keys on your keyboard. (This maybe the same for PC).
